  Usually a good place to eat and shoot a game of pool... Sometimes, being in a transient turn, they don't always have the greatest staff/service. But prices are reasonable and there's always fun to be had

  They accommodated our huge group on Thanksgiving and service was fast and friendly. Food was above average for pub grub. Would definitely recommend.

  The Drake's happy hour is legendary! Happy Hour Mon - Fri 4-7pm. Beer, wine and highballs are $5.00 TAX INCLUDED!

  The relatively boring exterior hides a beautiful post and beam interior. The bar is in a classic old building with lots of wood and separated spaces. There are televisions for sports, pool table and a stage for live music. In the right season a huge patio with amazing mountain views is open.

  Service was sub-par at best. Sunday night...one server (who is also the bartender). 10 minutes to get a pint. Both pints were off (Belgian Wit and Grasshopper). Asked when the lines were cleaned...told "two days ago". Either that was complete BS or the keg is 6 months old. Disgusting.

  Called in to see when their live music started. Found out from Kyle that they didn't have live music at the Canmore location and that we must be thinking of the Calgary location (called the number of the Canmore website so...). Later stopped in at the Canmore Drake and they did indeed have live music on later that night. Staff should probably know what music if any is playing a few hours later for when people call in. Would also be useful to put the start time on your website.

  The food menu is pretty simple and typical bar variety. The burgers and steak sandwich we had were well seasoned and delicious.
